Mr. Hodge
Hello and welcome to Physical Education Class at Highland View Elementary.
Here are a few things that you need to know about Coach Hodge. I have worked in the Bristol Virginia Public Schools since 1990. I have been a Physical Education Teacher at Highland View Elementary and Washington & Lee Elementary. I also work as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the school system where I am responsible for the well being of all student athletes in high school and middle school sports.
I attended East Tennessee State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. I then attended The Citadel where I worked with the football and baseball teams as well as with the corp of cadets.
I have had the opportunity to work in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles Football Club. This was an awesome experience that I will never forget.
Things that are good to know about Coach Hodge:
I am a enthusiastic person that likes to have fun. I love Tennessee Football and Country Music, I can listen to other types of music but country is my first preference. I love to be active and I enjoy being outdoors. Family and friends are my life and with out them I would be nothing.
